A Bit About Me
Welcome to Dreaming Tree Counseling! My name is Brooke (she/her) and I am so proud of you for being here! I strive to create meaningful connections and encourage positive change, while creating a safe therapeutic environment. My goal is to provide a comforting, empathetic, and secure space in which we can work alongside each other. Together, we can strive for authenticity, enhanced well-being, and personal growth. I work with teens and adults who are struggling with life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
My treatment approach is holistic, strengths-based, and trauma-informed - utilizing interventions such as EMDR, parts work, somatic interventions, and mindfulness. However, I value you as the expert of your own story, tailoring treatment to your unique experiences and goals. I would love to support you on a path of healing, self-compassion, and empowerment.
Work Experience
Lenawee County Community Mental Health - Adult Mental Health Case Manager
Simply Mindful Counseling - Outpatient Therapist Masters-Level Intern
Dreaming Tree Counseling - Outpatient Therapist
I received my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan and first began seeing clients for therapy during my internship at Simply Mindful Counseling, and fell in love with helping people reach their therapeutic goals.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and TIST (Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment). I enjoy seeing the impact that such amazing modalities can have on treatment and healing. I am dedicated to enhancing my knowledge and skills, striving to provide high-quality care for each of my clients. I recognize that one size does not fit all - and am committed to walking alongside you - as you are the expert of your own story.

You are the most important part of your healing journey. I strive to meet you where you’re at, with warmth, compassion, and empathy.
