A Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Phoebe Carmichael, an MSW intern at Dreaming Tree Counseling. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your story and work toward meaningful change.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and culturally responsive, with a special passion for supporting LGBTQ+ clients and those navigating anxiety, depression, identity, relationships, or life transitions.
Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, build tools for resilience, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
My services are offered at no cost to clients, making support more accessible while I gain valuable experience. My work is supervised by B Towns, LMSW, to ensure you receive high-quality, ethically grounded care.

Work Experience
Nemeth Counseling and Consultation -
Intake Specialist
LifeStance Health -
Regional Operations Manager
LifeStance Health - Intern
Dreaming Tree Counseling - Clinical Therapist Intern
I am a graduate student at Ohio State University who brings a unique background to my clinical training. Before beginning my work with clients, I supported therapy practices as an Intake Specialist and Regional Operations Manager. In those roles, I walked alongside people at the very start of their therapy journey and helped coordinate care with warmth and compassion. This experience gives me a deep understanding of what it takes to make clients feel welcomed, supported, and understood from the very first step.

I am committed to ongoing clinical training in the most effective and emerging treatment approaches, and am supervised by B Towns, LMSW, so, you can feel confident in knowing that the care you receive is ethical, informed, up-to-date, and tailored to your unique needs.
